Dr. José Vasconcelos Tavares is the 3rd generation of his family, who over the last 80 years and, with enormous passion and dedication, has contributed to improve and maintain the oral health of the Portuguese population.

In 2017 he decided to found the “Clinica Dr. José Vasconcelos Tavares”, a Company where he is the CEO and Clinical Director.

He is also the International Clinical Director for Dragon Practice Consulting in Wales, UK. Dr. José Vasconcelos Tavares graduated in Dentistry in 2003 at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Lisbon (FMDUL) where he would completed a postgraduate degree in Preventive Dentistry.

He also holds a postgraduate degree in Health Management from the Catholic University (Católica Lisbon Business and Economics) and in Health Innovation Management from Imperial College London.

Currently, in his clinical activity, he has a special emphasis on his dedication to oral rehabilitation and dental aesthetics. He has been a member of the Portuguese Dental Association (O.M.D.) since 2003 and of the General Dental Council (G.D.C.) in the United Kingdom since 2006.
